Detoxing With the Lemonade Cleanse - As Seen on the Fat Loss Factor Program

Detoxing With the Lemonade Cleanse - As Seen on the Fat Loss Factor Program

The Lemonade Cleanse, also known as the Master Cleanse, and Lemonade Diet, is really nothing new, even though it's gained more popularity recently as a result of the Fat Loss Factor program. The concept of using a pure lemonade diet to flush out toxins and "detox" your body is at least as old as the 50's, although the general idea has been around much longer than that.
Contrary to popular belief, the lemonade cleanse is not a "fast" in the strictest sense of the word. People who don't really understand the process think that it's just a way to starve the body, and of course if you're starving you're going to get skinny!
But that's not what the lemonade diet is about at all.
What is the Lemonade Diet?
The lemonade diet consists of drinking fresh squeezed lemonade throughout the day, without eating anything else, for a short period of time, usually for a maximum of 10 days. The lemonade cleanse works by synergizing with your body's own inherent system for cleansing and flushing away toxins.
When we eat, a lot of energy goes towards digestion, and so the body doesn't typically take the time to clear away harmful toxins that can build up in the gut and intestines. When you stop eating for a few days, such as you would do with a fast, the body can divert more energy to cleaning out waste from the digestive tract and other parts of the body.
Usually in a fast you would drink pure water, but there are also downsides to that. For one, you don't get the natural vitamins and minerals your body needs. The lemonade diet, as it's used in the Fat Loss Factor program by Dr. Charles Livingston, provides your body with those crucial nutrients.
Tips for Doing the Lemonade Cleanse
For starters, try to make the lemonade fresh whenever possible. The longer the lemon juice sits out, the less potent it will be and the less it will benefit you. Fresh squeezed lemon juice is the way to go, so try to squeeze it only a few minutes before actually drinking it. At the very least, don't keep it overnight.
You should also accompany the lemonade with pure filtered water. Drink as much lemonade and water as you want throughout the day- but stay away from everything else.
The Master Cleanse is slightly different from the lemonade diet described in the Fat Loss Factor (review link for that program is at the bottom of the article). In the Master Cleanse, the lemonade is supplemented with organic maple syrup and cayenne pepper powder to give your body even more nutrients.
The Benefits of the Lemonade Cleanse
Besides detoxing your body, the lemonade cleanse also helps you lose weight, balances your body's pH, increases energy levels, flushes your colon, improves the lustre of your hair and skin, and flushes out parasites that live in the digestive tract.
